The Gatwick venue located in the West Sussex countryside is a favourable venue with many groups choosing to play paintball here due to its close proximity to major routes such as the A23 and the M23 where Gatwick is easily accessible. Village field – Gatwick (West Sussex)
Do you storm the building or sit back and shoot the runners from your safe house? Tactics play a part when you play paintball in a village environment! Makes sure your paintballs don’t rattle and give you away as you move up on the enemy stronghold. Shooting from the safety of huts is as exciting as it sound. Paintball in Gatwick offer’s a great village field that will test your strategy as much as your steady hand.

Speedball – Gatwick (West Sussex)
Lock and load your paintball marker before stepping out on the most fast paced field at the Gatwick venue. Paintballing takes on a new level when played at close quarters and this field is sure to test your skills and reactions. Dodge paintballs as you move forward in an attempt to outflank the enemy and shoot them out of the game. One of the best fields to get an adrenaline kick on and will guarantee you play paintball in Gatwick again!

Barrels – Gatwick (West Sussex)
Weave through the barrels hunched low as you sneak up on an enemy position. Raise you paintball marker up and unleash paintballs on an unsuspecting opponent. The barrels allow you push fast up the field or give you a perfect position to set up you own ambush. Paintballing in Gatwick’s Barrel Field will test your nerve to the extreme. The barrels field is a large area with many possibilities, how do you want to play paintball sneaky or aggressive?

Gatwick

When I recently travelled to Gatwick paintball site I found it an extremely easy to get to because of the public transport and well marked sign posts along the way. I was then greeted by a Gatwick member of staff who directed me along a well made path to the base camp. When I arrived at the base camp I was given a disclaimer to sign which proved no trouble. I then introduced myself to the other paintballers and began chatting with them, realising that this was not the first time for many of them so the games may be tough. After talking for a while we then gathered our paintballing equipment which seemed to be in good knick. After suiting up in the paintball gear we were then were given a safety talk by a Gatwick member of staff and split into teams. After that we moved out to the gun rack where we all picked out paintball guns to use for the rest of the day. The Gatwick marshal's then lead us out to the first scenario where we took turns in attacking and defending in the Gatwick scenario. After that paintball game we then came back to the safe camp where I purchased more paintballs from the friendly Gatwick staff. Free hot and cold drinks were available from the base camp. When entering base camp we had to ensure our paintball guns were left behind and when leaving we had to keep our goggles down. This was enforced strictly which I found comforting. After a few more games we returned to base camp for lunch which was free for all the paintballers. We then went out and played a few more games. At the end of the day all the scores from throughout the day were added up to give a clear winner who was awarded a bottle of champagne. After all this was done we returned the paintballing equipment and were directed out of the site by the paintball staff.
