The Thetford paintball centre uses the best in paintball equipment and players are armed with semi-automatic paintball markers which allow you to unload your ammo straight into the oncoming enemy.

Game zones at the Thetford site include: Tanktastic, Lodge Attack and Mission Impossible! At the Thetford venue you will find yourself in situations where individual cunning and great teamwork will allow you to complete the task with a heart pumping thrill that is hard to beat! Fuel Dump – Thetford (East Anglia)
Your army’s tank’s have run out of fuel, your paintball team has been given the task of “Acquiring” some more from the Thetford fuel cache. Unfortunately there is a crack squad armed with paintball markers defending the exact same position. Luckily paintballs wont cause the drums to explode as you advance on the site. Eliminate the opposition team to win the day.

Lodge – Thetford (East Anglia)
Deep in the Thetford woodland there is a log cabin. This log cabin looks quiet but intelligence has identified a number of know fugitives hiding within. Your Paintball team has been giving the task of clearing the lodge. The position is easily defendable with windows facing out and low walls perfect for raining paintballs down onto enemy advancing troops in the open.

Tank Tastic – Thetford (East Anglia)
You infantry division has been tasked with taking out a tank that is halting your paintball team’s advance towards Thetford. A huge attack tank dominates the centre of the field with both paintball teams equal distance from the objective. Speed is off the essence as you take out the enemy but keep one eye on the tank, as you never know what might happen.

Holy Grail – Thetford (East Anglia)
This a new age twist on an old school battle, one team will take the role of the Saracens and the other the English knights in this paintball game. There is a large fortress at the top of the field with open ground laid out before it. Attack and defend games are some of the most exciting game types in paintball and will be sure to test you grit to the maximum. Teams will get a chance to play both scenarios at paintball in Thetford.

Thetford Venue Review

On the day I went to Thetford paintballing venue, I found my journey very easy due to the directions from the website and signposting outside the site. The paintballing car park easily fit all the cars in, with direction from one of the sites members of staff. After parking I was directed to the base camp via a very easy to follow path. The Thetford base camp was well built and could easily protect all paintballers from the elements. There was free hot and cold drinks available and food for purchase at the camp. The Thetford staff then gave a safety talk and split all the paintballers into different teams. The paintballing clothing and equipment was then given out, all of it being clean and well taken care of. We then collected our guns after leaving the safety camp where the Thetford marshals made sure all guns were in working order and ready to use. We then made our way out to the fields where the facilities were well constructed for paintballing. The fields were well thought out with challenging but fun objectives to try and achieve. Each team would take turns in defending and attacking or just switching ends. After each game we would return to base camp where the scores would be marked and we could purchase more paintballs or food if wanted. After all the scenarios were completed we then gave in our paintball guns and equipment. The Thetford paintball winners were announced, then we all made our way out to the car park, where a member of staff directed us in the best order to leave.
