The Durham paintball centre has some amazing game zones including: The Amazon, Fuel Dump, The Convoy and Guns of Navarone. All the zones provide you with some fantastic scenarios in which to get into soldier mode, using the natural cover and sniping out the enemy. At the Durham paintball venue you will be issued with state of the art semi-automatic paintball markers capable of firing 6 balls per second, giving you the necessary firepower to bombard the opposition whilst dodging incoming fire and evading capture.

"My group all had a great day and were busy comparing tactics and bruises in the pub afterwards. Personally we preferred the games when we were in smaller teams as it was easier to plan a strategy and divide the opponents attention without being pinned down by a barrage of fire. Being in a larger group of mainly strangers, while still fun, did result more in an “every man for himself” approach. But it is down to the individuals in the team to get organised so that is no criticism of the staff. I thought the staff were excellent – clear, decisive instructions and decisions yet managing to be unobtrusive during each game. The equipment was in good condition and the grounds were well maintained. Parking was ample. The toilet could perhaps have been a little bit cleaner – but maybe that’s just me being a girlie. My only suggestion would be to have a sign at the entrance so you know you’ve found the right place. Being set downhill and behind hedgerows it is tricky to spot when you’re driving past. As this was my first paintballing experience I cannot compare it against other centres, but in terms of a fun day out I would have to rate it 5, and would have no hesitation in recommending it to others. "

The Amazon – Durham
Your paintball team has been given the difficult assignment of an assault through the Durham jungle. You will keep low and move swiftly in order for further success in the campaign. Attacking the enemy position will take all of your paintballing skill and certainly test your nerve. The enemy have jungle positions which are heavily guarded; eliminate them all to gain access.

Fuel Dump - Durha
Deep in the Durham woodland is the opposition HQ. In the centre lies the fuel dump which the enemy are using to power their base. If your paintball team advances quickly you have some hope of gaining ground but when the paintballs start flying will you duck for cover and re-group. Paintball in Durham gives you a great taste of some great scenarios!

The Convoy – Durham
This is a great attacking paintball scenario. Your side must satnd their ground whilst under attack from both side.There is no-where to hide as you desperately try and protect the convoy. Both paintball teams will get a chance to attack, who will be more successful with their tactics and of course sheer bravery.

Guns of Navarone - Durham
This has been the scene of some of the biggest battles at Durham. Your team must push forward and get to their base to win the game but they are trying exactly the same. This paintball scenario will test both teams as they push forward; just ensure your base is safe before committing to the attack! One of the best fields at Durham!
