"A M A Z I N G We visited this venue with real hopes that we could give our Son the best 13th celebration; along with his friends who had all turned 13! Without doubt this has been ‘the best’ birthday yet! On arrival we received clear communication on where to park and how to keep safe and stay safe in this current climate. Start of day / activity was well organised with kit and safety briefing. The venue itself was ‘epic’ and what a layout! I felt like I was on a well thought out, user friendly, army base camp! It certainly flicked a switch inside and provided a taster of what joining the service might feel like! Lots of space and coverings to reflect about tactical games play, warm food and separate toilet facilities. Memorabilia that isn’t tacky! Games play.... there were lots of groups enjoying the facility; logistically you wouldn’t know this. Groups were managed in a way that ensured minimal overlaps. There are so many different game zones to enjoy. Health and safety: I was worried like any parent - I too had those questions: will it be safe, will my Son get hurt, will he be with men rather than people more senior? DO NOT WORRY! The team manage people, place and experience with precision! I am an Ex Head of PE .... I am a perfectionist but this place was flawless! Allie and Pierre were two of the kindest people we’ve met for a long time - the place draws you back and needless to say I will be rebooking within the next month! Well played ‘Combat Paintball’ clean sheet and full marks from us! "

"Our experience was for a small birthday party for a 14-year-old. My only criticism would be the directions from the web site do not take you to the venue, but a road around 2 miles away from which we then had to ask directions - if only we had stayed on the A11 (and not taken the A1075 as instructed) we would have come across your direction signs. However, once we arrived everything exceeded our expectations. We were met as we parked, were escorted to the site, given a table, safety briefing, kit to wear and finally our markers. At every step we were guided and throughout the day friendly staff would come and see if we were enjoying ourselves. We got to play four different games which varied in content allowing both attack and defence strategies to be explored. Very kindly tea/coffee and burger/hot dog lunch were provided free of charge. At no time were we rushed and our session did not end until nearly 4 p.m. (much longer than expected). Everybody enjoyed themselves and wanted to go again. As to cost I would say this ... obviously the profit is made from the sale of add-on paintballs and other items. Our group used on average 600 paintballs per person. Taking this into consideration I can say that this is a good value for money day out - the point being that unlike say go-karting which costs approximately the same money but last a couple of hours, this was a full day from 10am to 4pm. I would personally recommend it as a different type of day out, and wish to thank all the staff for making my son's birthday so special."
